Since their return to the top flight of England, Newcastle United have enjoyed a fruitful first half of the campaign thanks to their new found form, and manager Rafael Benitez. And to cement their position in the Premier League, the club is prepared to cough up £100 million worth of transfer budget for three English stars.

According to Daily Star, the Spanish manager is set to receive the stunning amount to facilitate the club’s pursuit of Luke Shaw, Ross Barkley, and Andy Carroll.

The plans for this mass sweep have been reportedly set in motion by the new ownership of Amanda Staveley, CEO of PCP Capital Partners, at the Newcastle helm. Though the takeover is yet to be made official, the announcement seemingly looks imminent.

Staveley has reportedly been wanting to take ownership of the Magpies for quite some time, and has decided to make changes even before the official reveal. The well known businesswoman is keen on keeping her side at the top level, and the transfer plans were born as a result of that.

On the other hand, though the swoop for Carroll and Shaw could become a reality, snatching Barkley could prove to be an impossibility, especially with the Toffees struggling to maintain stability at the moment.

However, with the talented midfielder himself reported to be in search of a switch, with a contract that expires at the end of the season, the Toons may still possess a slim chance of upgrading their midfield.

With the Red Devils’ left-back’s career at Old Trafford believed to be at a seeming dead end, he could also opt to make the move to Newcastle. And as for the former Liverpool man’s case, hardly anything can be inferred about his situation.

Nevertheless, Benitez is expected to make an attempt at securing all three of these signings come January, and may even end up having a near perfect transfer window.
