One of the key ways in which Premier League clubs are able to maintain and develop their young talents is by loaning them out till they are fit to perform for the first team.
The system in place has worked terrifically and often even ended up with players staying with their loaned clubs, having carved out a comfortable spot.
But the exact opposite seems to be the case for one Manchester United starlet and the Red Devils aren’t too happy about it.

As per the Sun, United are unhappy with the lack of game time being given to Timothy Fosu-Mensah by Crystal Palace. The 19-year-old defender was loaned out to the club during the summer window for a season-long deal, but that could change come January.

Then Palace manager Frank de Boer might have been inclined in deploying the youngster quite often but under Roy Hodgson that doesn’t appear to be the case whatsoever with the former England national side’s boss preferring to use safer options in defense.
As a result, the Mancunian giants might look to recall their talent and loan him off elsewhere so as to not waste what is undoubtedly valuable time in terms of his all-round development. During Saturday’s goalless draw against West Brom, the Dutch player was an unused substitute.
If the premature recall does happen, it will be interesting to see which club decides to employ him for the rest of the season. There’s a strong chance that Mourinho might even keep him for the rest of the season owing to his occasional versatility as a central defensive midfielder.
Regardless, as long as the talented Dutchman is not warming benches come January, any destination would be a favorable one.
