With the World Cup almost all set to get into the quarter-finals stage of the tournament, European giants may have finally received the wake-up call they needed.
The days between the final of the World Cup and the transfer deadline day are bound to go about quite quickly, with friendlies and early prep dominating the agenda.
However, this will also mean that targets who may have escaped attention due to the antics going on in Russia will now find themselves spearheaded by offers. Anthony Martial has been one such player, and a tempting deal may now await him.
According to an exclusive report by the Daily Star, Bayern Munich are now the latest club who fancy a try at prying away the French youngster.

Rated at £70 million, the 22-year-old has made it seem clear that a future at Manchester United with the measly playing time he currently makes won’t be something that he’ll endure, and that an exit is probable.

The Bundesliga giants will join the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, Real Madrid, and Juventus in their alleged interest for the starlet who United had purchased from Monaco.
A move to Munich will indicate the club’s interest in securing their future, as his versatility at playing both the wing and center-attacking position may translate into a long-term replacement role for the likes of Robben and Ribery, who are both serving the fag end of great careers at their age.

The report adds that the Bavarian giants have held discreet talks with representatives of Martial, and some progress may still come out of it.
However, it is thought quite clearly that the higher-ups at Old Trafford do not wish to get rid of the player, as they see in him a great potential for the club’s long-term future.
